These two reels showcase a lovely variety of Scottish reel-playing for the fiddle; the first tune, Jenny's Dang the Weaver, is from Aberdeenshire, composed by the Rev. Alexander Garden in the 18th century. The second, Sleep Soond i' Da Mornin', is from Shetland and has no known date of composition. Nonetheless, they both show the variety of bowing and ornament that one can add to a reel to keep it flowing (or leaping!) along.
